Wedding floristry isn’t all gorgeous bouquets and pretty blooms—there’s plenty of bucket scrubbing behind the scenes too! After 30 years as a florist, I know the magic happens because of the not-so-glamorous jobs as much as the beautiful ones. Clean buckets today, stunning wedding flowers tomorrow!

Meet Lucy – my right-hand woman and the one who keeps everything running smoothly!
From wedding installations and venue set-ups to lifting, carrying, styling, and jumping in wherever she’s needed, Lucy is always ready to help. Full of energy, creativity, and a great sense of humour, she’s the calm behind the scenes making sure every wedding day comes together beautifully. She’s proof that teamwork really does make the dream work!

Meet my husband – our trusted delivery driver and the man behind the wheel!
After a career as a teacher and Manager of a Further Education College, he’s now happily retired… well, almost! He still works part-time, but whenever wedding season calls, you’ll find him loading the van, delivering your beautiful flowers with care, and helping wherever an extra pair of hands is needed. He’s the calm, reliable one in the team (and usually the strongest too!). And yes… it really is a family affair!

Chief Meet & Greet Officer
Freddie is our resident sausage dog and the true little boss of Zsa Zsa Flower Barn! His very important daily duties include greeting customers, conducting highly serious sniff inspections, supervising from the cosiest spot in the barn, and ensuring not a single treat escapes his notice. If you visit us, don’t forget to say hello – a fuss or a biscuit will earn you a very enthusiastic new best friend!
